About this role
Marc Ellis, a Middle East-focused recruitment firm, is hiring a Power BI Developer & Administrator for a leading banking and financial services organization in Sharjah. The role is a hands-on, on-site 12-month contract (extendable) covering both Power BI development and platform administration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer Power BI reports, datasets, workspaces and apps
- Manage Power BI Gateways and scheduled data refreshes
- Implement row-level security, tenant administration and governance
- Handle ETL, data warehousing and performance optimization
- Work across both development and administration — not development-only or administration-only
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant BI experience
- Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL and data modelling
- Hands-on Power BI Service, Gateway and Row-Level Security experience
- Banking or financial services experience is mandatory
- Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Purview, SSIS, SSAS or Power BI Premium experience is an advantage
