About this role
Lumbini Elite Solutions, a Bengaluru-headquartered SAP and digital-platforms consulting firm, is hiring a Power BI Consultant for a Qatar opening, building and administering reports, dashboards and data models for business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business reporting/analytics requirements into technical specs
- Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards, including star-schema data models, DAX measures and Power Query transformations
- Connect and integrate multiple data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs and more)
- Optimise report and model performance and administer the Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, RLS, refresh schedules)
- Validate data accuracy, run UAT/user walkthroughs and provide ongoing support
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on Power BI development (Desktop, Service, Power Query)
- Strong DAX and data-modelling understanding
- Advanced SQL for extraction, validation and profiling
- Experience with Power BI governance (RLS/OLS, gateways, dataflows, workspace admin)
- Solid grasp of data-warehousing concepts (dimensional modelling, SCD, ETL/ELT)
