About this role

A recruiter at Volto Consulting is hiring a Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Data QA / Test Engineer with 3-8 years of experience in Bengaluru or Hyderabad, to validate data end to end — from Fabric pipelines and Lakehouse to Power BI dashboards and semantic models.

Responsibilities

Validate data end to end, from Fabric pipelines and Lakehouse to Power BI dashboards and semantic models
Test Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models and DAX
Validate Row-Level Security and KPIs
Reconcile data with SQL
Automate validation with PySpark / Python

Requirements

3-8 years of QA experience
Microsoft Fabric: Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2
Power BI testing: reports, dashboards, semantic models and DAX
Strong SQL and data reconciliation
ETL/ELT and dimensional data modeling
Jira / Azure DevOps and Agile
Good to have: Great Expectations, PyTest, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, DP-600 / PL-300 / DP-203
