About this role
Digital Savants is hiring a long-term Lead Power BI Developer (10+ years) in Hyderabad to drive enterprise reporting: semantic-model standards, performance, reusable templates, service capacity and governance. The role is onsite from day one, with a remote option after 2 months, working 4 PM-1 AM IST.
Responsibilities
- Define best practices for designing, sharing, versioning and documenting semantic models
- Optimise DirectQuery: compute usage, aggregates and reusable automation templates
- Enable multi-developer workflows with Git or Azure DevOps
- Analyse and recommend Power BI service capacity for enterprise environments
- Design app publishing lifecycles: packaging, versioning and deployment pipelines
- Build enterprise-ready reusable Power BI reporting templates
- Set up monitoring of system and capacity usage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology field
- 10+ years in BI, analytics and enterprise reporting, including 10+ years of Power BI dashboard development
- Strong T-SQL with proven performance tuning
- Dimensional modelling, report design and Power BI Service
- Deep knowledge of DAX, Power Query and Power BI Service administration
- Working knowledge of Azure
- Hyderabad: onsite from day 1, remote option after 2 months; 4 PM - 1 AM IST; 2 face-to-face interview rounds
